The Whitney Museum is an online database for specific artist who post to the site. Recently, the database has increased its 300 pieces of art to a whopping 21,000 pieces! Since the spike, many new artists have managed to get their name out there, and I personally think that is amazing. The art itself isn't exactly my favorite type, most carrying a dark mood or tone, but the art is good and can vary greatly between artists.

Selling Art:

Articletheabundantartist.com/how-to-s…

  • Within this article, I read over a few ways on how to sell your art more efficiently. After reading the article I realized that I should have multiple social media accounts, sell the best of my art, and should keep my accounts linked to make sure that people know where to buy from myself. When I decide to sell my art on a large scale, I'll use my deviantArt, Facebook, Pinterest, and possibly a future Twitter account to help get my name out and become a more recognized artist. Only the best of my art will be sold, the cleanest and smoothest pieces, and they will be sold for a reasonable price. Finally, all of my accounts will need to be linked, meaning that links will be provided on all of my accounts to spread my profiles' influence. This would be achieved by using the same username, Zelnodi, to make sure people can tell that the art they're buying from is indeed the artist they may have seen on another website. However, the most important thing to me about selling my art is to make sure people get a good deal for the money their willing to spend.

Cardboard Sculpture:

Artist- Scott Fife

Art
cardboard sculpture

  • As I scrolled down the multitude of cardboard sculptures, my eye was immediately drawn to this piece, by artist Scott Fife, of what appears to an ape-like creature, bear, or even a feline of some sort. Whatever the intended result was, this art absolutely amazes me! The artist used nothing but screws, glue, and cardboard, put together with a hand screwdriver, not to mention an amazing usage of detail and patience. The utilization of the ripped cardboard for the fur was a fantastic idea; doing its intended purpose in making an animal's pelt. One mistake is seen however, and that is the picture itself, being that the material below the chin looks to be more of a support to hold it up and it wasn't covered with "fur." However, if the picture was taken a bit higher or if the bottom was cropped a little, the picture would be more complete. Other than that, the piece itself looks incredible.

Our first project has started! Best thing about it is that we get to pick EXACTLY what we want to do and that's absolutely awesome to feel so free about it! Here's my WIP info on it for now, will update daily or weekly depending on the amount of progress at the time.

Project: I am drawing and coloring a full body shot of SSJ Goku walking towards the viewer's perspective on Planet Namek with torn clothing using pencil and coloring pencils. Somewhere in the picture is the famous monologue, "I am the Hope of the Universe."

Progress: Much has changed since I originally started, finishing up the small scale version of the picture and nearly completing the large scale version since last. Goku has now been inked, colored, shaded, and the background is currently being colored and will be shaded soon. A few tweaks are all that remains and my first big project will be complete!

---

Stay tuned for updates guys! Once it's done I'll have it posted ASAP! Have an amazing day guys! :)

So after some thinking, I decided that I really am in need of points, so why not use one of my greater digital art talents to help me! First, let me explain what I mean by "digitizing." Digitizing, or at least my definition of it, is the act of taking a non-digital piece of art, including photography, and making it a piece of digital art. I can personally digitize art from traditional media or already existing digital art, if the quality isn't that great or something of the sort. I just want everyone to know that I am only comfortable in my abilities in digitizing Dragon Ball Z art, and so, I will only be doing such. Here are my rates:

Busts:
1. Plain Line Art- 10 Points

2. Line Art and Coloring (No shading)- 20 Points

3. Line Art/w Coloring and Shading- 30 Points

Full Body:
1. Plain Line Art- 20 Points

2. Line Art and Coloring (No shading)- 35

3. Line Art/w Coloring and Shading- 50

4. Line Art/w Coloring, Shading, and Aura Effect- 55

Manga:
I can also do panels, pages, and if I'm up to it, multiple pages, though if anyone is actually interested in digital inking from me, please note me for more information as prices are shaky on doing a manga, especially the amount of pages I'd do. (Also, if any of my friends are reading, you get a discount on manga prices ;D)

I honestly find these to be reasonable prices considering how high some DBZ artists can get, not to be bashing on my fellow DBZ artists, in fact I know a lot of good friends who do requests for free. Which brings me to another point. I can ONLY digitize something that is already drawn or already exists. I cannot make digital art out of thin air (Not just yet at least). I can accept drawings that are from requests that you make with friends, but I need you to make sure that the person who did it for you has given consent on letting me do it, I will not do your commission otherwise. I hope everyone can find these prices reasonable! :D

Hey~~

Just wanted to thank you for the fave!

Also, since I'm currently focusing on music, I was wondering if you'd be interested in supporting me in that endeavor of mine?

If you are, I can link you to where you can find that stuff!
